He grew up in China and later moved to California. Later he received his Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at UC Berkeley. After graduation, he worked as a software engineer at the silicon valley. Due to his immense interest in the real estate industry, he got his licenses in both real estate and mortgage. He speaks fluent English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
Coming from a technology background, Hansen is very excited about how technology is revolutionizing our way of living. In his free time, he enjoys keeping up with the technology trend, sharing new tools that can make lives easier, and of course, learning more about financing and investment opportunities!

My husband and I have been in the housing market for so long. We literally watched the bay area house pricing going from expensive to unaffordable in the past few years. Unfortunately there was nothing we would do about it because the bank won’t lend us enough money. I have a small business in San Francisco and my husband is working as a bartender at a high end restaurant. Due to the fluctuation of our income, the amount of money banks willing to lend us was so low, far from being able to get a decent house in the bar area. My husband’s co-worker gave the agent’s contact info to us and we gave it a try. It was one of the best decisions in my life! My mortgage was funded right before Christmas and we are moving into our new home next year!

It’s such a shame to say that I basically lived paycheck to paycheck. I never thought of owning my own home until my landlord was being so greedy to raise my rent significantly and refused to make repairs just because she thinks I am paying under market value for rent.
A big thanks to her, I started looking for ways to afford my own place. Then I was referred to Hansen from my realtor friend.
